Generously sized, multi use Kaṣhāya Swaddle Wrap is made from certified organic fabric which is infused with goodness of Ayurvedic herbs. Apart from swaddle it can be used as stroller cover, nursing cover on the go, bed cover and light blanket as up to the age of 18 months.

In ancient India, Ayurvedic herbs infused cloth called Pomcha was used to wrap a newborn baby in as it provided anti-bacterial protection and also medicinally beneficial in a variety of ways. 

Kashaya products are in line with Ayurvedic principles using only natural ingredients which are incredibly gentle, breathable and gets softer with every wash!

Kaṣhāya clothing is dyed in line with Ayurvedic principle using a combination of medicinal Ayurvedic herbs that help to enrich babies’ sensitive skin, promotes restful sleep, believed to strengthen immunity and create a positive aura & calmness around your little one.

The Ayurvedic dye concoction (Kaṣhāya) includes herbs like acacia, neem, 6 types of turmeric, manjishta, 4 types of jungle geranium, touch-me-nots, 18 types of holy basil, vetiver, red sanders, ashwagandha, arkapushpi, sweet flag, karalakam, galanga, arrow leaf sida, and golden apple.

The fabric is treated in such a way with these Ayurvedic herbs that it not only absorbs the colour but also holds the goodness properties of the various herbs used.

Dos

• Though hand wash is recommended, it can also be machine washed in a gentle cycle in cold or warm water with environmentally friendly laundry detergent.
• Keep away from citric contents like lime or lemon.
• Dry in shade.
• Low iron on the reverse side if needed. 

Don'ts 

• Do not use fabric softener or bleach. 
• Do not soak or dry clean.
• Do not tumble dry. 

 Tips: 

• Washing with a natural soap like soap nut or PH balanced detergent will extend the life of the garment.
